Alicia is a writer and a wannabe disco dancer, intent on finding a church that celebrates the Lord though electric dance music. Prior to motherhood, Alicia’s red solo cup was full. By day, she worked as a marketer and copywriter for major brands including Aerosmith and World Series of Poker. By night, she alternated between partying and pouring over articles on how to be a not-so-wicked step mother. When she found out she was pregnant, her cup runneth over so fast that even a quicker picker upper wouldn’t do. She decided it was time to go big or n ago home, supersized it and started anew.
Alicia pens the art column for the funky fab local mag, Providence Monthly Magazine, and contributes regularly to its sister publication, SO Rhode Island. She’s been featured numerous times on BlogHer for her writings about motherhood and women’s issues. Most recently, Alicia was cast as one of Providence’s stars in the New England debut of Listen To Your Mother.
